“Loop improved our organization through a particularly important aspect that cannot be overlooked. Mental Health.”
-Footwork (Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals), San Francisco, CA
Footwork leads and co-leads Series A and Seed rounds, in companies with early signs of product-market fit. They focus on consumer technology and the consumerization of enterprise technology. The team at Footwork is inspired by founders, and wake up every day excited to get to work with people building the next generation of category-defining companies.

Footwork knew Loop would be important to their operations before they moved into their new space. A company with three conference rooms, frequently inviting members of their portfolio to collaborate in these spaces, recognized the importance of preserving these rooms for meetings and video calls involving multiple team members. As a result, they prioritized their conference rooms for larger gatherings and began exploring alternative solutions for individual workspaces. This led them to identify the Loop line as the ideal solution. By incorporating Loop’s office phone booths and privacy pods, they found a way to provide team members with their own personal hubs for focused tasks and processes, while keeping the conference rooms available for larger meetings.

A key benefit of Loop that Footwork identified was improving employee mental health, an aspect that should not be overlooked. Open floor plans, often featuring background music, can sometimes overwhelm individuals, particularly those who are neurodivergent or prone to anxiety. Recognizing the importance of addressing employees’ needs in relation to their work environment, they saw Loop as the perfect solution. Footwork believes that employers should encourage the use of Loop products in the workplace, as they help make overwhelming environments more inclusive and accessible for everyone.
“These units became an essential resource for maintaining focus and well-being in an otherwise stimulating office environment.”

When it came to choosing a location for the booths, Footwork faced a problem: the available space was restricted by ceiling height. Fortunately, as Loop Solos are designed as seated booths, they stood out as one of the few, if not the only, office phone booths on the market that could accommodate areas with height restrictions.
With a loft-style office lacking an elevator, getting the two custom Loop Solo’s into the space would have been impossible without the service of the installation team. In fact, without the option for this additional white-glove service, the company would not have been able to proceed with the purchase at all. Ensuring that the delivery service could manage the task of moving the units up a flight of stairs was a crucial factor in the decision to buy.
