Materials matter

Loop Phone Booths use quality, safe, and sustainable materials that are pushing to redefine the industry.

Sustainably sourced

Loop is dedicated to ensuring that the materials we use in our products have a reduced environmental impact. The materials we use in our privacy pods and modular meeting spaces are durable, long-lasting, and safe from harmful chemicals. We work with our suppliers to verify that the products that go into our booths are ethically and sustainably sourced.

Sustainably sourced materials selected for quality and durability.

Wood Veneer strips organized in a beautiful background on a dark background

Veneer

There is no substitute for real wood. Available on the exterior shell of the Loop Phone Booth custom line, our true hardwood veneers create a feeling warmth and depth in any space they are placed in. The veneers we use are composed of sustainably sourced wood, certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This certification ensures that the wood is harvested from responsibly managed forests, promoting sustainable forestry practices. The FSC certification signifies a commitment to environmental preservation, guaranteeing that the materials are derived in a way that maintains ecological balance and protects natural habitats.

Felt color options for the seats of privacy pods

Upholstery

We offer three commercial grade fabric options for Loop seating, each with a unique set of benefits. A standout choice is the luxurious and soft 100% wool felt. Wool enhances the visual appeal and design of your Loop Phone Booth while maintaining a soft and comfortable surface. The second option is our 100% silicone vinyl upholstery which is perfectly suited for healthcare settings or locations that will see high traffic. When cleanliness and hygiene are paramount, this healthier hospital’s compliant fabric will resist all manner of spills and wear. Cloth, our third standard option, blends comfort, aesthetics, and durability. All Loop upholstery options come in a wide variety of vibrant and neutral colors to align with the aesthetic vision for your space.

Laminate

Our phone booths only use high-pressure laminates that are Greenguard® Certified. This means they have been tested and evaluated to meet stringent chemical emissions limits. Laminate is the used for the desk and floor surfaces but can also be specified on the exterior shell instead of wood and on the interior ceiling and walls instead of felt. The high-pressure laminate in our booths is highly durable, ensuring longevity and reliability. It is easy to clean and disinfect, making for an ideal finish for shared office environments, schools and universities, and healthcare facilities to align with IPC compliance. With a broad spectrum of bold and color options, our phone booths help you embrace your organization’s identity.

Loop office pod PET felt materials options

PET Felt

Panels made from PET felt have become an industry standard for commercial furniture. Our PET felt utilizes recycled plastic that is woven into a wool like texture and pressed to form a highly durable material. PET felt exhibits excellent acoustic absorption characteristics resulting in an office pod interior that dampens sound. The recycled content of our PET felt contributes to LEED® v4 sustainability initiatives to align with our Design for Environment Policy. They also have a Class A fire rating for product safety. PET felt can be specified as the back panel finish on Loop Solos and Loop Cubes and is the perfect option for when the booth is expected to be placed against a wall. Our high-quality PET felt can also be selected as the ceiling and wall finish on Loop Solos, Loop Cubes, and Loop Access privacy pods.

Glass on office pods

Glass

Not all glass is created equal. Glass type, thickness, clarity, edge finish, and most importantly safety are all key considerations when selecting the right glass for a privacy pod. We use 10 mm thick, tempered safety glass on all our Loop privacy pods. Our glass thickness helps make sure conversations inside a Loop Phone Booth stay confidential. The glass doors of our office pods are frameless and feature a beautiful, polished edge detail that aligns with the quality and craftsmanship of our product. The edge detail also eliminates the risk of glass chipping. Just like all of our materials, each piece of glass thoroughly inspected and goes through rigorous QC process to ensure quality and clarity.
